If you know your regular curvy size in Old Navy/AE/Gap, then take your department store size and size down ONE to find your base Judy Blue size. 

Example- 22W is a 20W Judy Blue, 20W is a 18W Judy Blue, 18W is a 16W Judy Blue, 16/18 true wider hip is a 14W Judy Blue. If you are a 14W, you can size down to 15 and possible 13 depending on the cuts.
